This month we are on safari in Kenya, Africa. Our areas of study will be lions, elephants and the camels of Egypt. We are also learning about rainforests.
Garden cleanup has begun as we get ready to start and sow seeds.
This month we will continue our study of the continent of Antarctica and add the Arctic to our travels. Do people live in the Arctic? Our study of polar bears and penguins continues. We are having such a good time visiting mom Crystal and her two polar bear cubs at the zoo. Did you know a polar bear cub is approximately one pound when born? Our art area has many items for Valentine creations. We will deliver our Valentines to the Senior Center for their special lunch.
Pack your warm coat and boots. We are off to the continent of Antarctica. We will learn all about polar bears and penguins. What does it mean to hibernate, migrate or adapt? Do animals leave tracks behind? Let’s find out!
We would like to wish our families, friends and community a peaceful and happy holiday season. This month on our cultural shelves we will learn about Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanza. We will continue our study of leaves and trees.
