tree with yellow leaves

We would like to wish our families, friends and community a peaceful and happy holiday season. This month on our cultural shelves we will learn about Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanza. We will continue our study of leaves and trees.

What does it mean to be “thankful?”

As we gather to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, what are you thankful for? What does it mean to be thankful?

This month we will begin our study of the seven continents.

On the science shelves we will study trees and leaves. Why do leaves fall off some trees this time of year? Why do leaves change color? What happens to the tree when the leaves fall off? We will also learn all about the turkey.

Mr Bones

Welcome Mr. Bones!

Our areas of study this month will be our skeletal system, pumpkins, and what to do in a fire emergency. Thank you, Chief Waters, for visiting us and conducting our fire drill.

We are so excited to make new friends and say hello to old ones.

Our areas of study this month will be apples, the four seasons, and living and non-living.

Our drop in days are September 8 and 9.

We will continue to follow all current Covid-19 recommendations, guidelines and any mandates. Our goal is to keep all children, families, and staff healthy.
