Arletta Montessori is proud to be partnering with Rotary Club of Gig Harbor. This year we are helping to stock the Little Food Pantry. There are 6 Little Food Pantry locations in Gig Harbor. The pantries are stocked with non-perishable food items. “Leave What You Can—–Take What You Need” donations may be dropped off at the school.

 

Arletta Montessori is collecting pet food and pet supplies. All donations will be distributed by non-profit animal rescue groups in Gig Harbor.

We would like to thank our families, friends, and community for an amazing school year. We wish everyone a wonderful summer filled with adventures.

The garden is planted. Strawberries, two varieties of tomatoes, three kinds of squash and four varieties of pumpkins are growing nicely. The resident bunny really likes the berries.

We have begun planning our garden. The children will begin construction of the planter boxes in the near future. When asked what they would like to grow. The reply was a resounding, “All of it, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, everything we can eat, and some yellow flowers to give my mom.”
